CTE Social policy

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated October 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cowboy Trailers and Equipment LLC, doing business as CTE Social (“CTE Social,” “we,” or “us”), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal data when you visit, register for, or use CTE Social. It applies to customer representatives, prospective customers, and people whose information is submitted through the service.

1. Personal data we process

  • Account and business data: name, email, phone, business identity, website, address, service area, time zone, categories, and account credentials in hashed form.
  • Billing data: plan, price, renewal interval, Stripe customer and transaction references, payment status, and cancellation state. Complete card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored by CTE Social.
  • Configuration and connection data: Google Drive folder identifiers and permission results; Publer workspace and social-account identifiers, routes, and connection status; branding, schedule, consent, and privacy preferences.
  • Customer content: photos, videos, logos, captions, business details, metadata, and generated publishing copies. Media may incidentally contain people, license plates, location details, or other personal data supplied under the customer’s authority.
  • Technical and support data: IP address, browser and session information, security and audit logs, error records, emails, support messages, and service activity.

2. Sources

We collect data directly from you; from authorized customer representatives; from Stripe, Publer, Google, and connected social networks; and automatically from your use of the application and its security logs.

3. Purposes

We process data to create and secure accounts; process and reconcile billing; provide onboarding; organize and review media; generate captions and branded copies; schedule and verify posts; send transactional messages; provide support; detect abuse and errors; enforce agreements; maintain audit records; improve reliability; and comply with law.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose data only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect rights and safety, complete a business transaction, or comply with law. Categories of recipients may include:

  • Stripe for Checkout, recurring billing, refunds, and the billing portal;
  • Publer and connected social networks for account routing, drafts, scheduling, and publication;
  • Google Drive for customer-authorized file access and organization;
  • AI and media-processing providers for content review, transcription, caption preparation, and quality checks;
  • hosting, database, email, security, logging, and professional-service providers that support our operations; and
  • government authorities, advisers, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or users.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Cookies and sessions

CTE Social uses essential cookies and similar session mechanisms for login, request protection, and application security. We do not use the application’s customer dashboard for third-party behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

We retain personal data while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. After paid service ends, we ordinarily retain operational configuration and generated content for up to 90 days to support export, reconciliation, recovery, and offboarding, then delete or de-identify it unless a longer period is required for security, disputes, contracts, taxes, billing, audit, or law. Stripe and connected platforms retain data under their own policies. Backups and logs may expire on separate protected schedules.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to confirm whether we process your personal data; access or obtain a portable copy; correct inaccuracies; delete data; or opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. CTE Social does not currently engage in the latter three activities. You may also update business information in your dashboard or request account closure.

Submit a request to [email protected] from the email associated with the account. We may verify your identity and authority. We aim to respond within 45 days, with an extension where permitted. If we deny a request, reply with “Privacy appeal” and the reason you disagree. We will review the appeal and explain any further complaint option, including the Texas Attorney General where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including restricted access, signed requests, configuration validation, audit logging, and controlled credentials. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account use.

9. Children

The service is for businesses and authorized adult representatives. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Do not submit children’s data unless lawful, necessary, authorized, and expressly approved for the workflow.

10. United States processing and changes

CTE Social operates from the United States, and service providers may process data in the United States or other locations subject to appropriate contractual and legal safeguards. We may update this policy prospectively and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
